Laneshia K. Tague, MD, MSCI has received the American Federation for Medical Research (AFMR) Junior Physician-Investigator Award. This award was created to honor young AFMR investigators whose research projects complement an overall program of research, teaching and clinical medicine. Candidates must have submitted an abstract to one of the AFMR Regional Meetings. Applications were judged on both the quality of the abstract submitted and their career accomplishments. Dr. Tague will receive a Certificate of Excellence and a $1,250 honorarium at the meeting.
