Our second annual Pulmonary Research Day was another great success.
We were happy to welcome Dr. Andy Limper back to Washington University to deliver our Keynote Address, and over 30 people from several Departments and Divisions across campus presented their latest findings in pulmonary and critical care research.
Congratulations to Dr. Patrick Aguilar from the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine who won the Clinical Abstract Award for his poster entitled, “C4d-negative antibody-mediated rejection after lung transplantation”, and to Anshu Gounder from the Division of Biology & Biomedical Sciences who won the Basic Abstract Award for her poster entitiled, “IFI35 modulates early inflammatory responses during H5N1 influenza infection”.
