Zhiyu Dai, PhD, Appointed to NIH Study Section

The Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine congratulates Zhiyu Dai, PhD, Associate Professor of Medicine, on his appointment to the Pulmonary Vascular Disease and Physiology Study Section (PVP) within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Center for Scientific Review. His term will run through June 30, 2030.

Study section members play a critical role in the NIH peer review process by evaluating research grant applications and making funding recommendations that help shape the future of biomedical research. Appointment to an NIH Initial/Integrated Review Group is a significant professional honor reserved for researchers who have demonstrated exceptional scientific achievement and the expertise needed to evaluate groundbreaking biomedical research.

Dr. Dai was selected for his outstanding contributions to pulmonary vascular biology and his nationally recognized expertise in the field. Through his service on the study section, he will help guide NIH funding decisions while supporting innovative research that advances the understanding and treatment of pulmonary vascular disease.
