The Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine is pleased to introduce PERT in Practice, a new interdisciplinary educational series focused on the evaluation and management of pulmonary embolism. The Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) brings together expertise from multiple specialties to provide rapid assessment, risk stratification, and advanced treatment for patients with acute pulmonary embolism. With this series, the division aims to create a forum where clinicians across WashU Medicine can discuss challenging cases, emerging therapies, and evolving approaches to PE care.
