Research Interest

Dr. Chi is a clinician-educator with academic interests in critical care and palliative care.  His research focuses on the intersection of these medical specialties to improve the medical care of critically ill patients, including the integration of outcome prediction tools and symptom-based management into clinical practice.  Future research plans include studies of critical care outcomes and multidisciplinary approaches to optimize long-term care of patients in the intensive care unit.
