Research Interests

Chronic lung diseases like asthma and COPD are among the most common forms of serious illness in the U.S. and worldwide. The communication of immune cells and epithelial cells in lungs plays a critical role in the development of chronic lung diseases caused by respiratory virus such as Sendai virus and influenza virus. What I focus on is to identify and characterize the factors that regulate this communication using the established mouse model.
