Cystic Fibrosis Service

In 1992, the inpatient service and subsequently the outpatient services for adults with cystic fibrosis patients were transferred from Children's Hospital to Barnes-Jewish Hospital. This service has gradually grown so that a designated unit with dedicated staff is now committed to treatment and clinical research projects for this patient group under the direction of Dr. Daniel Rosenbluth. Approximately 200 adult cystic fibrosis patients are prospectively followed.
