The most economical way to reach the Medical Center and hotels from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport is to take MetroLink, the local light rail system, which will drop you off at the Euclid exit on the east side of the Medical Center. The cost is $4.50 for an all day pass. Take Metro Link to the Central West End station; exit the platform up the stairs. This will put you onto the Euclid Ave. Cross to the other side of Euclid and continue north to the EPNEC Building. Follow the signs to the Northwest Tower. Take the elevators to the 15th Floor. Several lodging options near the medical center are available and outlined below.

The Parkway Hotel. 4550 Forest Park Blvd. (314-256-7777), is located on the Washington University Medical Center Campus and offers enclosed access to the Center for Advanced Medicine as well as the rest of the Medical campus. It is also located less than two blocks from the Central West End MetroLink station. A block of rooms is being held at The Parkway at a discounted rate of $114 (+tax) per night. Be sure to ask for the "Residency" rate when making reservations to make sure you receive the special rate.

Hampton Inn & Suites. 5650 Oakland Avenue (1-800-Hampton) or 314-655-3993), is less than a mile away. The Hampton Inn & Suites St. Louis at Forest Park offers Washington University a rate of $104 (+tax) a night (ask for the Washington University rate when making reservation).

Chase Park Plaza. 212-232 North Kingshighway (877-587-2427 or 314-633-3014), is considered within walking distance of Barnes-Jewish. Lodging rates: $269 (+tax) per night. They have a complimentary van shuttle to Barnes-Jewish, but reservations must be made ahead of time.

Drury Inn & Suites near Forest Park. 2111 Sulphur Ave (800-378-7946) is 2.5 miles away. Lodging rates: $89.99 (+tax) per night.
